Shopify Scripts can no longer be edited or published
Who is affected
Shopify Plus stores using Scripts for discounts, shipping or payment
What it changes
Fixing an existing script becomes impossible, so any promotion logic tied to tracking must move to Shopify Functions.
What to do
The replacement runs through customer events for measurement and checkout extensions for anything shown on screen. Putting a script back in the same place will not make it run again: the mechanism itself is gone.
